About Me

I am an accredited therapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have 10 years of experience in mental health.

I have encountered various challenging experiences in my walk that have profoundly shaped my personal growth and professional approach. These transformative encounters have moulded me into the therapist I am today, influencing how I practice and the level of compassion and empathy I bring to each session.

I am excited to extend my expertise through online therapy sessions. I provide a wide range of options for my clients by tailoring my training and skills to ensure we can work together to identify the most suitable therapeutic approach for you.

I am proud to offer a practice that is not only supportive and affirming but is also highly inclusive. I warmly welcome individuals from the LGBT+ community. My work is centered around addressing the unique challenges and experiences faced by intersectionality and the impact of living in modern society.

Embodying Inclusion

My approach addresses intersectionality because the different parts of us matter and they affect our mental health.

With strong foundational training in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. My commitment to working with each part of us with understanding means I have remained at the forefront of therapeutic knowledge and best practices. Building expertise with people of colour and the LGBT+ community.

Along with a portfolio of training and certifications that enable me to provide compassionate, culturally competent care tailored to your unique needs and experiences. From understanding ADHD and autism, to applying mindfulness, grief support, and bereavement counselling.

By embracing intersectionality and specialising in working with diverse communities, I'm dedicated to providing a safe, understanding, and empowering therapeutic environment that supports your journey toward healing and growth.

I am trained in wide range of therapeutic specialisms to holistically understand your diverse experiences and needs.

Looking Back

I offer supportive tools for exploring past experiences. This helps develop a deeper understanding of how early experiences shape present behaviours and beliefs. How we tell and understand our stories matters. My approach looks at the narratives we have about our lives and offers the chance to create a new story that aligns with your values and goals.

I have received specialist training through Cruse Bereavement which allows me to offer support to individuals navigating the complexities that come with loss.

Looking Around

If you need to address the here and now, we can focus our sessions on you becoming more aware of how you approach current experiences and where opportunities for development are. My style explores thoughts, feelings, and somatic experiences to learn the skills needed to deepen self-exploration and personal growth.

Connecting with our bodies is how we can better understand our emotions. This approach is shaped by my training in mindfulness which centres around developing present-moment awareness, as well as the skills needed for self-compassion and acceptance.

Looking Forward

As a therapist, I also use coaching techniques to provide you with solution-focused skills and tools to achieve your goals.

By understanding your specific circumstances, I use creative therapy techniques to empower fresh starts that foster growth and positive change.

My approach to solution-focused therapy is coaching you to learn how to make decisions independently with confidence.
